SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the SMS/text message program offered by Menava, Inc. (“Menava,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By enrolling in, opting in to, or otherwise participating in our SMS program, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not enroll in or use our SMS services.

 

1. Program Description & Types of Messages

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree that Menava, Inc. may send you SMS/text messages, which may include (but are not limited to):

  • Updates related to your account or services

  • Tax inquiries and reminders

  • Appointment reminders and confirmations

  • Important notifications related to your engagement with Menava, Inc.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase or use of Menava, Inc. services.

Message frequency may vary based on your interactions with us and the services you use.

3. Charges & Wireless Carrier Responsibility

Standard message and data rates may apply to each SMS message sent or received in connection with our program, as provided in your mobile telephone service plan.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

 

4. Opt-In, Opt-Out & Support

You may opt in to receive text messages from Menava, Inc. by providing your mobile number to us and indicating your consent (for example, on an intake form, online form, or through other documented agreement).

Sample Messages (with opt-out instructions):

“Menava, Inc requests that you upload the requested tax information to our secure portal at your earliest convenience. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.”

“Menava, Inc thanks you for choosing us. We look forward to seeing you next year. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.”

“Menava, Inc would like to remind you that your appointment is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10th at 2:00 PM. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.”

Opt-Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by texting “STOP” to our number. After we receive your opt-out request:

  • You will be unsubscribed and will no longer receive text messages from us at that number.

  • A confirmation message will be sent to confirm that you have unsubscribed.

If you wish to re-subscribe, you may text “START” to receive SMS messages again.

5. Confidentiality & Privacy

We will maintain the confidentiality of your mobile number. Your mobile number will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

For operational purposes, your name and mobile number may be shared with service providers who assist in the delivery of our SMS communications. These providers use your personal information solely to carry out the services they provide to Menava, Inc.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories stated in our Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

6. Eligibility & Responsibility

By opting in to our SMS program, you represent that:

  • You are the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you provide, and

  • You are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for keeping your contact information up to date and for all charges associated with receiving SMS messages on your mobile device.

 

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be effective when posted on our website, unless otherwise stated. Your continued participation in the SMS program after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
